Almost one week ago while taking our dog out for her morning walk, I heard the most distinct “meow!” coming from the woods at the edge of our property. As I walked closer, low and behold, the most adorable little orange ball of fur came toddling toward me, and I swear she was saying: “mama.”
Do we need another pet? No. Could I even fathom not bringing her in and caring for her? Definitely not. After some consideration, veterinary care, and a bag of kitten chow, we decided that little miss June (a name chosen shortly after her arrival) would be a part of our family. Isn’t she just the cutest?
In photography news, I have been busy with editing photos from a baby/family shoot on Sunday, and I am excited to share a few of those.
The weather has been so beautiful here in Chillicothe this week that I am very tempted to set up some sort of an outdoor office on the back deck, so that I can enjoy the sun shine a little while I work during the day. It’s times like this when I am so thankful to have recently purchased a laptop.
Stay tuned in the next couple of days for lots of images from my latest shoot!

Awww, June is adorable! It’s so great of you to keep her! I had to give away a kitten recently, and even though I have a cat and knew I had to give the kitten away from the beginning and was with her less than a week, it was still really hard to give her up.
