Nick & Macy’s Winter Wedding | Chillicothe Ohio Wedding Photographer

When a couple plans a winter wedding, there are usually many fingers crossed for snow. Well, we were lucky enough to have a few flakes the day of Macy and Nick’s beautiful January wedding! Although the daylight had faded by the time their ceremony ended, Macy and Nick wanted a few images outside. Even though it was literally FREEZING cold, dark, and snowing, I was more than game! I was even more thrilled when I found out that a tractor would be involved–how fun!

Valerie & Billy | Chillicothe Ohio Wedding Photographer

I am so excited to post a few images of Valerie and Billy’s wedding, just in time for Christmas! Of all the weddings that I photographed in 2009, I was generally very fortunate to have beautiful weather. That is, until the day of Valerie and Billy’s Hocking Hills wedding. It started raining hard that morning, and as much as I tried to wish it away, the rain just kept coming all day. In spite of the rain, Valerie and Billy had a beautiful ceremony, and we even managed to get a few fun rainy photos!

Also, on a side note… I am still here! I’ve been working, working, working, but have neglected my poor blog. That’s about to change. Look out for some new blog posts from recent sessions and weddings, and even some photos of my adorable baby, who is now almost five months old amazingly enough!

It seems like just yesterday that I was posting Seth & Jaclyn’s fall engagement session photos, and now, I am pleased to give you a look at their incredibly beautiful Dublin, Ohio wedding! I was lucky to have the opportunity to photograph Seth and Jaclyn at some really wonderful locations (as you will see). It was super difficult to narrow down which images I wanted to post, so, there are quite a few! Congratulations to Seth and Jaclyn–hope you enjoy the photos!

Abby & Derek: Married! | Chillicothe Ohio Wedding Photographer

I have been so lucky so far this summer to have had absolutely beautiful weather for each of my weddings! Abby and Derek’s Chillicothe, Ohio wedding was no exception, and as you can see from this sampling images from their wedding, the day was just lovely! Big congratulations to you, Abby & Derek!

I really love this picture, it’s so touching to see this kind of emotion behind the bride’s eyes as she walks down the aisle toward her new husband.

Abby & Derek chose the Adena Mansion in Chillicothe as a site for some of their portraits following the ceremony.

The reception was held at The Madison, which is the old post office and former Landmark Christian Academy in downtown Chillicothe, Ohio. This was my first event at the new Madison, and I am sure I will be photographing many receptions there in the future as this is a wonderful location!

Someone really needs to smack me on the fingers for not blogging these beautiful sessions much sooner. Following are some of the amazing moments captured and Keith and Lacie’s beautiful wedding from October. They were married on the most gorgeous autumn day, probably the last really beautiful day of the fall last year. Perfect timing!

Mary and Kevin’s Wedding in Chillicothe Ohio

Senior Portraits: Schiller Park, Columbus, Ohio

I took Misst’s senior portraits recently in Columbus, Ohio. We shot the photos in the German Village area, and in the beautiful Schiller Park. Misst has such a warm personality that taking her portraits was a breeze, and fun, too! Below are a few photos from our recent session:

On Sunday I photographed Lacie & Keith’s beautiful wedding, and have been working feverishly to edit several wedding and portrait shoots over the past few days. Expect many more photos soon!

Mike & Clista’s Wedding at Deer Creek Resort

So, I am finally getting around to posting some of the images from Mike & Clista’s beautiful wedding in July. The wedding and reception were held at Deer Creek Resort and Conference Center in Deer Creek State Park, Ohio. The wedding ceremony took place near the lake, in front of a beautiful white gazebo which was draped with red roses. It was truly a beautiful wedding, and a wonderful experience for me! What a weekend! I spent all day Saturday at Mike and Clista’s beautiful wedding at Deer Creek Resort & Conference Center. It was a beautiful day, and the ceremony and reception were a lot of fun. I am really excited to begin the editing process on their photos, there were so many lovely moments captured!

I am also working finishing up a senior portrait session this week, and wrapping up some adorable portraits of a 2-year-old little boy. Everyone who is waiting on pictures, they are coming very soon!
